Last Day 15% off Sale!

BJ on Sep 30th 2008

Pocket Sillhouettes is my second favorite stamp set in the 15% off sale!  This set provides great versatility when you think about adding it to more masculine cards or scrapbook pages.  I also used it to create some sympathy cards - you always need to have some of them on hand.

This card uses one of my favorite folds but I challenged myself to use colors I don’t normally use.  The colors are;  Basic Black, Going Grey, Basic Grey and Whisper White.  I embossed with white embossing powder a stamp from the pocket sillouette set and added 2 flat backed pearls from the Pretties Kit.  The Basic Grey satin ribbon is a perfect accent to top this card off!

Check out this special here.  You can call me at home anytime today or simply order online!

Another Fabulous Club Card!

BJ on Sep 12th 2008

Bella Blossoms - check out this fabulous stamp set!  I am really lovin’ the Sweet Bella line.  If you haven’t checked out the Sweet Bella style watch on page 12 - go do it now!  This stamp set is found on page 102 and I relaly love the sample on page 194.  Yum Yum!

This stamp set was so easy to cut apart and pop up part of the flower - and it was just screaming for a girls best friend - dazzeling diamonds of course!  The designer series paper on the side is from the Sweet Always package.  The greeting is from Heard from the Heart - a fantastic greeting set that is part of the 15% off sale on until September 30!  (Oh, and don’t forget, Online ordering is here - 24/7!)  The base of this card is Always Artichoke.

The Groovy Girls Club had a great time making this and 3 other great projects on Wednesday night.  The fun and laughter made it a great night.

Today is the last day to register for my Dreams Du Juor September Stamp Camp!  Check out the picture of this great project in a previous post. . . don’t miss a project that can easily be changed for a wonderful project that makes a great gift! - with 4 cards and a box - who doesn’t need gorgeous cards to send!

Club Projects

BJ on Sep 12th 2008

Check it out!  I am LOVIN’ the BIG Shot!  This card was one of the cards made at one of my clubs this week.  The theme was using chipboard.  The great flower accent was made using the Big Shot, chipboard available from Stampin’ Up! and the Parisian Summer Designer Series paper.  The solid pink behind the flower happens to be sticky back felt!  One of the fabulous features of the BIG shot is that it is sooo versatile!   When you think that the Big shot can cut over 50 materials - there’s versatility right there!  And that’s only one of the reasons I have called this the most versatile die cut machine on the market!

To make the flower accent, simply glue your designer series paper on a piece of chipboard, place on the flower found on Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive Baskets and Blooms die and Big shot it!  I found paper side down works best.  The felt flower was cut on another Stampin’ Up! exclusive die - the Pennant Die.  So easy and cute!

So, would you like to know everything else on the card?  The base is Apricot Appeal, all of the Designer Series Paper is from Parisian Summer (fabulous colors in this paper!), Pumpkin Pie, Scallop Edge Punch, Rhinestone Brad and the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.

In using the scallop edge punch you always punch off a tiny strip - so, I put it on the card!  The pumpkin pie strip at the very bottom was the "waste" from cutting the pumpkin pie scallop edge under the card!  Yea!

The other projects at this club were just as fun - but, this was the best. . . if you’re not a member of one of my clubs, give me a call and see how you can join in!

Eastern Blooms

BJ on Sep 1st 2008

Are you ready to see the result of some of my weekend playing?  I used a new stamp set called Eastern Blooms - it is one of the stamp sets on sale for 15% off this month!  Check out all of the stamp sets on sale here.  This card uses the Top note Sissix dye (oh how I am lovin’ it!).  Pacific Point In-color paper with a little kiwi kiss.  Very simple but high in the cute category!  Watch my website tomorrow for more information on the Sissix which becomes available to customers tomorrow!  Check out my calendar for information on my BIG shot club!   If you want to have fun with a great new machine - it WILL be the place to be!

Here is another version using fall colors.  I just had to get into the fall spirit even though it sure has been an awesome summer!  The colors in this one are;  Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie (tis the season for that!), Old Olive, Apricot Appeal and Whisper white.  I used the 5 petal punch to create the leaves behind the flower.

OK, here’s one more.  This one uses the Green Tea Designer Series paper and the new Baja Breeze In Color (I’m lovin’ the new In colors!)  I also used my clear microbeads in the centers of the flowers to add a little more pizzaz - is is stinkin’ cute if you ask me!  Trust me - it’s much cuter in real life!

So, these are 3 of my favs - but there’s more that you’ll just have to check out on your own at one of my upcoming events.  Check out my calendar to see which one works for you - or schedule one of your own!

OK, off to play a little more!
