Stampin’ Up! Style. . . . Yes, I have soooo much fun with these boxes. I saw many of these with some great variations at Stampin’ Up!’s convention. . . . more to come later on that.
I have three announcements involving boxes today!
- My Big Shot class on Wednesday – August 12 will feature a new creature that is red and black and oh, so cute!
- By popular demand, I have added a night to the Fall Stinkin’ Cute Box Class – Wednesday, August 19 still has some openings. Please RSVP if you are interested.
- Stampin’ Up! posted my class on the demonstrator part of it’s website today with instructions! Don’t you wish you were a demo. . . . ask me how you can do that right now for only $85!
Convention Thursday
BJ on Aug 7th 2009
Wow, it was a great day! You’ll see a picture from the opening introduction featuring members of the 2010 Olympic hopeful gymnast group. I reconnected with great friends through Stampin’ Up!, Leo and Margaret. Today we learned more about Build a Bear – coming soon! You’ll also see a sample from the display area. The inspiration here is awesome! Shelli looks great as always. Then it was our turn to dress up for awards night. It was a big night for me as I was honored to be in the top 100 demos in the United States! Wow! This is a first for me. . .
Salt Lake City
BJ on Aug 5th 2009
Salt Lake is GREAT! My flight yesterday went without a hitch – had plenty of time to check in, walk around and SHOP! Just don’t tell my husband I did that! This clipboard and bag tag are gifts for my downline that are attending. . . they were very excited to get them!
Today is a fun day. First we are off to pick up our convention bags, visit momento mall (more shopping – SU style!). Then there will be lots of swapping, greeting old friends and meeting new ones. This afternoon I am going to an organized stamp a stack type event and then this evening to a reception.
Make sure you check back later to day for more pics!
CLUB MEMBERS! ATTENTION!
Our first get together is next week! Who would like to be the first hostess – contact me if it is you! (you’ll be the first to get the free hostess benefits from the new catalog!). It’s not too late, I have an oppening for a couple more folks so, let me know if you want one of those spots!
Definitely Decorative Projects

I am enjoying the great new selections in the Definitely Decorative catalog. See the new catalog HERE. It’s a great way to add a new touch or a new look without breaking the budget or the hassle or painting! I love this quote by Rose Kennedy. When you attend one of my upcoming classes, you’ll see this addition to my stampin’ spot! I have 2 other Decor Element projects that I made today as well. . .. more to come on that later.

Here is another Decor Element that I added above my door. It’s a great reminder to Dream BIG!

Have you seen the Blue Room lately? (if note, then you are overdue for a class in my Stampin’ Spot!) This is the large Tree, Thoughts and Prayers in Chocolate. I also added the Direction of your Dreams quote. It fits nicely on this wall don’t you think?
Clubs Now Forming for upcoming Catalog year!
BJ on Jun 8th 2009
Club members love the member benefits, and you will too! Check out my Join a Club page for more information. Here’s some highlights of club membership;
- Get your catalog as soon as they are available!
- Have a "girls night out" planned for a few months out of the year
- Hostess benefits without having your own "show"
- Learn the latest and greatest techniques and ideas from a great Creative Coach – me!
- Easy opportunity to stay in touch with SU current specials. Plus club members get extras from me!
- Build your own supplies of stamps, accessories and other items that you like because you’ve used them first in club!
I am starting to plan next years clubs (stamp, scrapbook, technique and punches). I have a special treat for those who rsvp to reserve their spot! Check it out!

It’s a Punch ring! Many of the Stampin’ Up! punches (even 1 new addition to the new catalog) are punched in cardstock and placed in a clear sleeve so that you can easily use this image to see what a punched out image would look like from various stamp sets in the catalog. This is awesome when it comes to adding a punched image with words. You’ll see that there is also an inventory sheet that is stored in a sleeve so that you can readily see which punches you have (prevents disappointment when you get home and realize you don’t have a punch that you really wanted!
Also notice the colors of the cardstock. Recognize them? No – well that’s because they are the new In Colors! Yes, let’s welcome Rich Razzelberry, Melon Mambo, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede! Tune in later to see how you can get an additional free gift from me with the new In Colors!
Celebrate National Scrapbooking month. . . .
BJ on May 30th 2009
with a quick and easy scrapbook!
Can I say, I love quick and easy? This was made in l hour from concept to finish – including journaling! What do you think? I am sure you can find an hour to make this memory that will look great on your coffee table – and your friends will think it’s great too!

This scrapbook celebrates the fun I had at the Stampin’ Up! convention in 2008. Many of my downline went and we had a great time celebrating with each other. In this pic, Sue, Tatiana and myself enjoyed a great night of entertainment from a Minnesota group – Tonic Sol Fa! They were awesome – and they are coming back this year! (If you want to go to convention with me – it’s not too late. Give me a call and I’ll tell you when and where)
To make this scrapbook, you will need the clear Card, Telephone & Address die from the bigz clear die sizzix line. The clear die is just that, clear so that you can place over your picture and see what the result will be. Then you just flip and send through your sizzix! I bought the holder from WM.
Teacher Gifts, Grad gifts and more!
BJ on May 29th 2009

We are all making sure that we are spending wisely but, yet at this time of year we want to honor teachers, graduates, and have quick gifts ready as hostess gifts for those summer bar-b-ques. Once you make one of these, you can easily make more quickly and easily! Check out my class schedule for this great class! Or print out this flyer for more information.
My friend, Georgia Giguere taught me this great folding technique and idea when we had a little stamping session last Saturday. Georgia is a great stamper! Notice that I used the textured cardstock on the front of the holder. Remember that the textured cardstock is also available on the special this month – I love adding just that little extra "feel" to my projects! There are 4 cards inside this holder – 2 are shown here. I used the Oval All stamp set once again – I will be sad when this set goes away on June 30 – the versatility is amazing.
When you register for class, there are 3 options for you to choose from;
Option 1 – $20, includes all materials for a set of boxes including 4 card/notecards and envelopes
Option 2 – $50 (Great Value), includes class and paterials plus; Oval All Stamp set ($16.95) and Scallop Oval Punch ($15.95)
Option 3 – $85 (Best Value). With this option you can make a minimum of 4 more sets (that’s 8 more gifts!). This option contains everything in option 1 and 2 plus;
- 1 package Bella Rose Designer Series paper (or other DSP of your choice) $9.95
- 1 package Notecards with Envelopes, $5.95
- 1 package Whisper White cardstock, $7.50
- 1 package Whisper White Medium Envelopes, $6.50
- 1 spool of white organza ribbon, $5.95
Unable to attend? Add $5 shipping and Ill mail you your kit. Kit will include precut paper and instructions, but will not include any stamped images.
Hope to see you at class!
Oh my, where has the time gone?
BJ on May 27th 2009

Well, I have had a few weekends of crafting time – well, I also had some great time in the yard as well. So, I have been a slacker at posting pics and hopefully providing you with some inspiration. Well, that’s about to change – hang on to your seat and make sure you check back everyday as I have lined up some posts for you to enjoy.
This project was actually very easy. A 12 x 12 sheet folds easily into this cute little file holder. It’s a perfect size for a handmade card or two! These cards are simple and look great with just a little of our Designer Series Paper – don’t forget it is on special this month! I also love the oval all stamp set and the coordinating punches.
Wouldn’t this be a perfect teacher or hostess gift? Need a few quick? Contact me and I will hook you up! There might be a class (or two) added to my upcoming calendar. . . . I am soooo close to my goal that I am hoping you all are ready for some fun ideas I want to share!
Spring has Sprung!

I am showcasing our great Designer Series Papers in this CUTE card! This is Candy Cane Lane. The flowers are from the Flowers Layers #3 (page 199) Sizzix die. This was the favorite card at my clubs this month (and there were some great ones this month!)
Certainly lots of FUN in this card. Great Mothers Day card!
Show your Patriotism

Another great box from the Top Note Die and Box #2 Big Shot XL Die.
Stampin’ Up! worked with Sizzix and an XL Crease pad has been created. You’ll love this crease pad when you are using your Big Shot with a die that has score lines. While it doesn’t show in the catalog, it is available through me. If you have a XL die – you need to get one of these.
This box is the placeholder for your July events. I think the box would look great with some sparkly confetti and summer treats. This box was part of my summer boxing class. We did the May basket, Beach Scene, this flag and a soon to come Sunflower for August. If you missed it, give me a call and I can get you signed up for a class session.
I am honored that Stampin’ Up! has chosen to publish this class for other Stampin’ Up! demos. As you know, my friend Sandy and I created this class after I had so much fun last fall with Frankie (Frankenstein) and Frosty. If you’ve been to my house you’ve seen them lined up on the mantle. . . stay tuned for the fall class coming in early September in which we will make a pumpkin, Frankenstein, Turkey (he’s cute!) and Rudolph (yes his nose is red – and he has glitter!)
TTFN!
