Let it Snow!

BJ on Dec 4th 2008

Yes, up here in the Northland, we are getting some snow!  I am thinking that I could choose to not be happy about that or embrace it - at least until later this spring when I am really tired of it. . . . So bring it on . . . "Let it Snow"

Here’s a quick and simple card using the Big on Christmas stamp set and the Jumbo snowflake wheel.  Love the extra little touch of ribbon on Frosty!

Enjoy! (and Let it Snow!)

Christmas Card Kits

BJ on Nov 16th 2008

Are you looking for handmade Christmas cards without the designing and cutting?  Call or email me for a pre-cut kit complete with ribbon.  All you need to add is the stamp set and inks!

This great card is made using the A tree for all seasons stamp set - which is an oldie but, goodie stamp set. The colors are Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette.  I used watercolor pencils with the blender pens to color it in. . . but, you could use chalks, markers or crayons as you wish.  You can’t see it very well but, I added dazzeling diamonds to the snowman and the snow.  Dazzeling Diamonds always add a touch of class.

The ribbon is 5/8" grosgrain.  I used the Big Shot and the top note die to create the Pink Pirouette background.  "Warm Wishes" comes from Hugs and Wishes which is a great little greeting set on page 141.

Call or email me for this kit.  Each kit will create 10 cards and will be ready for pickup or mailing each Monday.

I am really loving this Season of Friendship set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  So much so that it is making an appearance at my stamp a stack this week.

Join me on Tuesday at 6:30pm for this event and get a headstart on your holiday cards.  You’ll stamp 15 cards and envelopes for $25 and you’ll receive a $10 credit on your order that night.  If you can’t make it, let me know and I will send you the supplies, you add the stamps and inks and you’ll be all set!

This card uses Bashful Blue, Riding Hood Red and Whisper White cardstocks.  Notice the great riding hood red ribbon - with the white edge - fits just perfectly on this card!  I used a masking technique with brayer to create the bashful blue and white layers.  The white gel pen (a must for the holidays) creates the extra snow on the tree.

Last Day 15% off Sale!

BJ on Sep 30th 2008

Pocket Sillhouettes is my second favorite stamp set in the 15% off sale!  This set provides great versatility when you think about adding it to more masculine cards or scrapbook pages.  I also used it to create some sympathy cards - you always need to have some of them on hand.

This card uses one of my favorite folds but I challenged myself to use colors I don’t normally use.  The colors are;  Basic Black, Going Grey, Basic Grey and Whisper White.  I embossed with white embossing powder a stamp from the pocket sillouette set and added 2 flat backed pearls from the Pretties Kit.  The Basic Grey satin ribbon is a perfect accent to top this card off!

Check out this special here.  You can call me at home anytime today or simply order online!

I LOVE fall!  This card represents some of the great colors the season brings!  I even have some of my fall decorations out, thanks to the weekend party my husband and I had for our friends and family!  We had a ton of fun!

This card uses a great level 2 hostess set and a stamping with bleach technique!  The great colors in this card are;  More Mustard, Garden Green, Really Rust, Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Very Vanilla!  I just love it!  This was a card featured at my September card classes and shows - hope you got an opportunity to check it out in person!  If not, it’s not too late - check out my last chance special. . . .

Order online (24/7) or call me between now and Sept 30 at 11pm and you’ll receive a free gift from me!  Last chance for the 15% off special (and it has been VERY popular!)

BJ on Sep 12th 2008

Bella Blossoms - check out this fabulous stamp set!  I am really lovin’ the Sweet Bella line.  If you haven’t checked out the Sweet Bella style watch on page 12 - go do it now!  This stamp set is found on page 102 and I relaly love the sample on page 194.  Yum Yum!

This stamp set was so easy to cut apart and pop up part of the flower - and it was just screaming for a girls best friend - dazzeling diamonds of course!  The designer series paper on the side is from the Sweet Always package.  The greeting is from Heard from the Heart - a fantastic greeting set that is part of the 15% off sale on until September 30!  (Oh, and don’t forget, Online ordering is here - 24/7!)  The base of this card is Always Artichoke.

The Groovy Girls Club had a great time making this and 3 other great projects on Wednesday night.  The fun and laughter made it a great night.

Today is the last day to register for my Dreams Du Juor September Stamp Camp!  Check out the picture of this great project in a previous post. . . don’t miss a project that can easily be changed for a wonderful project that makes a great gift! - with 4 cards and a box - who doesn’t need gorgeous cards to send!
