All of the retiring product lists are now available.  It is certainly an exciting time of the year as we scour our wish lists for items that we must have before they're gone – and the excitement is building as we prepare for the new catalog – just over a month away!

The Definately Decorative and Simply Adorned lines will not to be in the new catalog.  I expect these items to go fast. You will find links to all the lists below.   Select these items early and get them ordered as some of them are deeply discounted and when they are gone, they are gone.  Again, I recommend you order early so as to avoid disappointment!

Here are a few more key points for you;

• The 2010-2012 In colors will be retired.  Please order all of the complimentary products you want in these colors before they are gone.  Cardstock, reinkers, ribbon, etc.  Every year, I hear from a number of you who were too late and didn't get what they needed. . . . avoid disappointment and order early.
• Classic Ink Pads – you will note these on the least.  Don't worry – a new and improved ink pad is coming to you in the new catalog!  Yea!  It will be a softer foam surface so that your images will be more easily inked all over!  How exciting!
• Craft Ink Pads will no longer be available except in black and white.  So – get your favorite embossing colors now.  I recommend Real Red, Very Vanilla and a brown. 
• Stampin' Write Markers – only select markers will be available individually.  So if you are working on a full set – get the ones you are missing now.
• Textured 12 x 12 cardstock – will no longer be available
• 12 x 12 cardstock will be available in select colors and assortment packs. 
• orders can be placed online or you can call me.  Each day I will combine orders and have them shipped here and split shipping costs between the orders.

Vintage Vogue has been a favorite stamp set since I got it.  I love each of the designs in this set and found it so easy to create awesome layouts with it.  There was just something about this set that inspired my creativity.  Ever have that happen to you? 

Well, the time has come for Vintage Vogue to retire so, I pulled it out the other day and this is the result.  I used a color combination of Peach Parfait and Baja Breeze with a little Pear Pizzaz thrown in.  Don't you love the result? 

I have never done this with ribbon on a flower like this before – so, you see what I mean by inspire my creativity.  This is the Pear Pizzaz poly stitched ribbon that will be retiring as well.  Don't you love the look?

The retired stamp list is out!   As with anything, it is sad to say good-bye.   In this case it is necessary to prepare for a new catalog!  So, while I'm sad, I'm also happy to say hello!  

I went through my stamp collection after church – and am feeling just a bit sad at some.  But, I am excited that I pulled out my favorites and will be featuring them at my Chicks, Chocolate & Card Class this Thursday at 6:30pm.  I hope you can join me – I only have 2 spots left.  Please RSVP if you want them.

One of the cool products available this month is the Summer Smooches Decor Stencil.  Hostess Club members who came last night loved the watercolor look of using this stencil on a card.  While you can't see it in the photo – it even has a little shimmer!  This image certainly creates a great background for this easy card layout.  I used the Timeless Portrait DSP and the Tiny Tags stamp set for the remainder of the card.  Accented with a little Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and Voila!  A quick card with a stunning background!

Ohhh lala!   I love bright papers – especially in the spring.  It so reminds me of outside when the colors are starting to come out to play!   I "played" a little with the Summer Smooches DSP and stamp set this weekend.  Check out this bright card for my hostess clubs this week.  Come on over either Tuesday or Wednesday if you want to make one!

Here's the coordinating stamp set called Bright Blossoms.  I love how it is dainty and cute.  A great contrast to the larger flower sets I have.  Especially in a layout like this – I want a smaller focal point and this works so perfectly!

Several weeks ago, I met several of my downline for a fun lunch.  We had been planning this lunch since last fall and a few things just kept getting in the way.  The lunch was supposed to be a birthday lunch for me.  We had a great time chatting and planning and laughing.  Then they pulled out this birthday card – isn't it cute?  Simple and fun.  My downline Tatiana Keene made this card.  I loved how she used the framelits and the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  The little touch of seam binding ribbon and Bakers twine at the bottom just adds that extra little pizzaz.  Thanks Ladies!
