Here's a few more holiday cards to tempt your creative bug. Come check them out on Saturday at the Holiday Card Buffet!

I love the simple look with Vanilla and Gold. Both of these cards use embossing – if you look closely at the second card, you'll see that the rhinestones are not in the same color we sell in the catalog. . . . want to know how to make them in any color you want? Hint: it involves a marker.
I started on my annual coaster calendars last night . .. . a couple of months done. The dilemma every year is how many to make – Mary at MDK sells them like hot cakes – I hope that 30 will make it!
Blessings!
Christmas in October?
BJ on Oct 25th 2011
I had a little time to play last weekend. . . . and tried to post but, accidently deleted it prior to getting it posted – which caused a little frustration on my part – and I gave up! So, back to the creations. . . . I was experimenting with holiday cards for my Holiday Card buffet on Saturday – there's still room if you are interested! Check back this week and if you are coming let me know which cards you want to make!

Remembering Halloween
BJ on Oct 4th 2011
There's something about Halloween that is magical for kids – and I suppose grandparents too. It's fun when they knock on your door with their costumes and are brimming with excitement. I've always tried to have a special treat for them. This year, I am going to have a special treat for the parents and for Jim and I as well. Here's that gift

This cute frame will hold their picture that I capture that night for years to come. The smiles I will get when I look at it will bring warm memories to my heart. This frame was so simple and quick to create, that I wonder why I have never done anything like this before. In fact this could become a holiday tradition!
I purchased a simple frame from a big box store and removed the glass. I covered the back with some of our DSP (Frightful Sight) and then used images stamped from Festive & Fun, Wicked Cool, Jack of All Trades and Grateful Greetings. I also used the Spider Web textured embossing folder to emboss the piece where the picture will go.
Now don't you agree this is an easy and simple gift? Could you see yourself creating one for many different holidays? It's with that thought that I'm going to add something like this to the growing list of possibilities for my holiday gift giving class on November 26. Space will be limited for this workshop so, stay tuned for more details and make sure that you RSVP soon!!!
Blessings!

It’s a brew-haha!

That's right – at the Peters house today, it's the annual get together that Jim and I put on for all of our family and friends. We look forward to it. It's lots of work but, it's truly a labor of love. Jim cooks a Booya (a tomato based soup) over a fire.
.jpg)
We'll have over 100 people here later! It's so much fun. . . stop over if you are in the area.
In honor of the Booya, my project today is inspired by that – and my friend Tami. I think Tami was inspired by our friends Susan and Janet. They are all very talented stampers! I did add a couple of improvements – isn't it cute!!!

What a hoot! Or I guess it's a boot!!! Believe it or not, it uses the stocking die from the Holiday mini catalog! And it's got a box in the middle to add a few treats!

I am having so much fun making Halloween stuff this year! Guess I should have done a whole Halloween decor class! Well, I'm off to get stuff ready for later – Have an awesome day everyone!
Blessings!
Holiday Banner
BJ on Sep 23rd 2011
First the Halloween Banner and now a Holiday one. . . Check it out and then let me know if you are interested in a "banner blast"

Oh so cute! Could you just see this hanging on your fireplace for the holidays? Or better yet the squeals of delight as you give this to one of your friends as a gift? So, would you like to create a Halloween Banner like I posted a couple of days ago, a Thanksgiving banner and this Christmas Banner in a class? I'd love to put this together if there is a need fo it! Reply to this post and let me know!
A quick shout to my hostess from last night – Diann! Oh my, she had a great group of friends and a few little extras that made the workshop fun! Looking forward to more FUN with these girls! P.S. My birthday is in Novemeber!
I am off today getting ready for our annual party this weekend. If you follow me frequently, you know that Jim and I do an annual party for our friends and family – a BOOYA. It is a lot of work but, tons more fun! My dad is already here and I am off to do the shopping and a little cleaning today. Then we'll gather tonight to get the vegetables ready. Pics to follow!
Blessings everyone!
