It's Tuesday already!  – sorry I missed a post yesterday.  We had a super fantastic weekend with the grandkids at my dad's.  Fishing, swimming, fishing, swimming, card playing, and repeat!  

I'm busy getting ready for hostess club tonight and tomorrow – excited for new members!   Plus the Washington County Fair starts tomorrow and after an inspirational trip to my favorite quilt shop this weekend, I have new projects that I have to get ready for the fair!  Stop by and see me in building B and you'll see what I've been working on!   Ask me for your free gift!

On the home front. . . Jim enjoyed his "in-house" vacation last week.  Did a little fishing and not much else!   hehe.  Thanks to all of you wonerful customers who braved the tropical heat yesterday and visited my booth at Rivertown Days – it was a hot one!  And mixed in with all this, I am back on the computer today applying for jobs and making phone calls.  Still no job.  Appreciate your prayers and support in growing my Stampin' Up! business to support our financial health.

What an awesome group!   Here they are the 5 first time convention goers in the North Starz group – doesn't it look like they are having an awesome time?  This year, there was a march across stage for all of the first time convention attendees so, Mary, Carrie, Jessica, Rachel and Jan all got their turn in the spotlight!

The morning general session was a ton of fun as the Holiday Mini catalog was unveiled – and oohhh lala is it going to be exciting!   I can't wait to share it!!!  While I can't post pictures of it, I can show things made from it. . .. here's one hint, this cookie was part of my lunch today – do you suppose it was stamped?

Then it was off to Make-n-Takes.  Well let's just say they are pretty amazing, I didn't take pics so, I will have to post them later.  Then it was back to another general session, and more free things!  Jessica won a prize and we were all winners when we received on of the new simply sent kits. 

Tonight we're off to the awards night.

Momento Mall

This was our first stop.  Really exciting things in the mall this year.  I got a cover for my laptop, DSP paper sampler, Ribbon sampler, Shirt, SU mug, card holders, etc.  It's always a really fun place to visit!

Bag Pickup

The convention bags this year are VERY cute – and will be so very useful to carry catalogs and things.  Great logo on them – sorry I forgot to take a picture

Swaps – oh my goodness did I have a great day swapping!   Can't wait to bring things home to share with all of your!

Visiting the home office – yes, I took the trip out to the home office to say hello and visit the SU legacy room.  The above picture are the banners hanging in the foyer of the home office.

Tonight we had a welcome party with fun food and games.  Now we are all beat and ready for a snooze before the BIG day tomorrow.

In other news. . . .
