Check it out! I am LOVIN’ the BIG Shot! This card was one of the cards made at one of my clubs this week. The theme was using chipboard. The great flower accent was made using the Big Shot, chipboard available from Stampin’ Up! and the Parisian Summer Designer Series paper. The solid pink behind the flower happens to be sticky back felt! One of the fabulous features of the BIG shot is that it is sooo versatile! When you think that the Big shot can cut over 50 materials – there’s versatility right there! And that’s only one of the reasons I have called this the most versatile die cut machine on the market!
To make the flower accent, simply glue your designer series paper on a piece of chipboard, place on the flower found on Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive Baskets and Blooms die and Big shot it! I found paper side down works best. The felt flower was cut on another Stampin’ Up! exclusive die – the Pennant Die. So easy and cute!
So, would you like to know everything else on the card? The base is Apricot Appeal, all of the Designer Series Paper is from Parisian Summer (fabulous colors in this paper!), Pumpkin Pie, Scallop Edge Punch, Rhinestone Brad and the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.
In using the scallop edge punch you always punch off a tiny strip – so, I put it on the card! The pumpkin pie strip at the very bottom was the "waste" from cutting the pumpkin pie scallop edge under the card! Yea!
The other projects at this club were just as fun – but, this was the best. . . if you’re not a member of one of my clubs, give me a call and see how you can join in!
