Snow (man) Love
BJ on Jan 3rd 2012
ohhhh lalala! I was sooo excited to see this Sizzlet in the Occasions Mini Catalog that I just couldn't wait to use it. Then Stampin' Up! sent us a picture of a cool banner. . . and I just knew I had to try it. Now I know – you are going to LOVE this sizzlet. . . . the only warning is that there are lots of snippets that are cut out of this doily!

This is part of man Snowman Love class on January 14 at 9:30am. You'll make this banner – and a stinkin cute snowman that will be showing up here very soon! Plus another 'surprise!'
OK, back to the sizzlet die – can't you just see so many uses for it? Here's a closeup;

Here's what I used on this project;
Stamp Sets; Merry Winter, Letter It
Cardstock & Ink; Shimmer White, Vellum Cardstock, Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Blushing Bride
Big Shot: Paper Doily Large Sizzlet
Accessories; 1 3/4" circle Punch, Irridescent Ice embossing powder, Full Heart Punch
Make sure you RSVP for this fun class very soon! You don't want to miss out on your spot!
Blessings!
Gift Tags
BJ on Dec 6th 2011
Have you ever been sooo excited about a gift that you have picked out – or better yet made for someone? The packaging of this gift becomes sooo very important – everything has to be perfect! I'm sure you can relate to what I am saying. Here's 2 cute gift tags that are debuting at my hostess club tonight.

Aren't they just cute! Imagine them on your package – or better yet, make up a set and put them in a cute package for a co-worker or neighbor gift! Secret Santa's would love them too! The best part? They are small enough that you can make them with your scraps!
I obviously used the 2 tags die from the main Idea Book & Catalog. The holiday decorations are made from the Stocking Accents die in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I see lots of uses for this little die. And you only have a few weeks left to get it!
Another fun project planned for tomorrow!
Blessings!
Check out this “to die for” opportunity. . . .

It’s S P O O K Y!
BJ on Sep 18th 2011

I have a few customers(names not mentioned to protect their innocence hehe!) who are fanatical about Halloween. As I was thinking about projects to inspire them, I knew I wanted to create a banner – and it was so much fun to create. It's one of those projects where as it comes together, you squeal in delight!
It was relatively quick and easy. The base is the is the Perfect Pennants Die. This is the perfect base for many holiday pennants to come! Oh, and have you seen and heard about how trendy pennants are right now?
.jpg)
Check out how stinkin' cute these pennants are!

Here's a couple of cool tips;
- If you look closely, you'll see that the letters have an irridescent quality to them. I coated each of them with the Smooch peralized top coat. It's easy – it goes on like nail polish and sure adds a ton to the overall look of the banner
- I used the Spider Web textured embossing folder on 2 of the pennants. I coated it with a black stamping pad prior to running it through my Big Shot
- The stamp sets I used are Wicked Cool and Out on a Limb – perfect additions to the banner!
- The Designer Series Paper is Frightful Sight. You'll get some of this paper when you attend the Halloween House Class Sept 29! There's still room!
Make sure you check back tomorrow and several times this week – there are COOL projects in store! Here's the upcoming class list;
- Simply Scored Stamp Camp – Tuesday Sept 20 6:30pm
- Halloween Home Makeover Thursday Sept 29 6:30pm
- Hostess Club October 4,5 6:30pm
- Holiday Card Buffet October 12 9am-12noon

I am hoping for a little sun while I'm there. . . . just in case, I am planning on taking my tax prep papers along (yuck – 0!).

Yummy New Catalog sample #2!
BJ on Jul 17th 2010

This goooorgeous card uses the new Elegant Lines embossing folder (p 214) and the "hi" embosslet from p 215. Very yummy! This card was one of the samples made at my Big Shot class this month. It uses vellum cardstock. When using vellum cardstock in your big shot with an embossing folder, use tab 2. If you don't know what I'm talking about perhaps you should check out my next Big Shot class on the second Wednesday of every month!
Also check out the color of the cardstock – it is an In Color called Blushing Bride. Remember the In Colors are now here for 2 years!! yep – we'll still get new ones but, they'll last longer (kind of like the tootsie pop commercials of old!).
A gift for my sister
BJ on Apr 27th 2010

This year on cruise since it was later in the year (close to fishing season) and Jim had concerns about his health, he opted to not go on cruise. Now I can tell you when I left home that he was sad that he chose not to go as he knows how much fun I'll have and how well Stampin' Up! will treat us. But, he also knows that I will have fun and will treasure the time I will be spending with my sister. My older sister, Sally from Fort Collins Colorado is cruising with me. Some of you know that I have only known this sis for about 17 years and with the distance, we don't get to spend as much time together as we would like. So, we will enjoy this time with great pleasure!
As I got ready for cruise, I thought that I should bring a little gift for my sis to add some of her favorite pictures to. She already has a My Digital Studio but, knew that she would appreciate something like this. I used one of the chipboard albums from the current mini catalog (ladies – here's the deal – these are fantastic and you can do so much more than make scrapbooks with them – you will be said if you don't buy 1 or 2 of them before the end of the month when they go away!) The paper I used is a sneak peak from the upcoming summer mini catalog – I thought it was fun, bright and reminded me of the fun colors I will be seeing in the caribbean. This album only took a bit to put together but, the memories will last a lifetime.
Happy Stamping!
