I love the super fun new DSP in the catalog called Birthday Basics. It just screams from fun! This card layout shows off the fun new paper so very well. It will be one of the cards at my Chicks, Chocolate & Cards this week. I have had a lot of fun creating cards for the class – and a hard time deciding which ones we will do!
I also used one of the new stamp sets called Tag it! You are sure to want this stamp set for 2 reasons; First it is the Ronald McDonald stamp set – so a donation for each stamp set sold goes to Ronald McDonald charities. Second – the super fun images can be used year around and for many occasions. If you need a third reason, it coordinates with some of the new framelits!
The framelits I am referring to is the new Chalk Talk framelit set. This new framelit set coordinates with 3 stamp sets in the catalog – and I am sure you will find more – because if you look closely, the image I used doesn't necessarily show that it is meant to coordinate with the framelit I used.
So, if you want to reserve your spot at class – make sure you call or email today!

With the graduation season here, my sister and niece came over and made graduation cards yesterday – with a graduating senior even my non-crafty sister (I got all of those genes) thought handmade cards were the way to go for the dozen grad gifts she needs. I was also thinking about the ones we have and came up with a unique gift card holder that is sure to stand out from the others.
I used a small bag and created a quick front with punches, DSP, an embossing folder and a greeting. Then I inserted a piece of cardstock folder over at the bottom and topped with a popped up Mixed Bunch flower. It was actually pretty simple. Easy enough to re-create by you – and doesn't take much time.
So, if you are looking for your gift card (oh so popular these days) to stand out – this is an idea worth copying!

I've been a little fascinated byt the Washi Tape – it's something new to me and I'm having a little fun with it! In this card I covered a piece of paper with washi tape and placed it behind a heart cut out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. Here's a close up;
Here is what I used to create this gorgeous Friends Forever card;

As a demonstrator, we can order some of the new things in advance – and get to playing. One of the many advantages of being a demonstrator! Here you are getting a sneak peak of a bundle – yes I said bundle available in the new catalog! This bundle contains a stamp set and punch. You may also not totally recognize the colors in this card as it features many of the new in colors!
The In Colors are; Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantalope, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush. The only one I didn't use is Baked Brown Sugar. (Don't you love the names!).
Mosaic Madness is a stamp set that features 11 coordinating designs. Take a close look at this pattern – then when you are shopping or looking at magazines – you will spot lots of patterns like this! I was really surprised at how much I saw when I started looking! I love that there is a punch to coordinate with the stamp set!
I also spent some time getting more things ready for my "Out with the Old and in with the New" Open House on June 1. Retired items are being priced. Accessories bagged and ready to be priced. You are going to want to make sure and plan this day into your schedule!

So, I'm Back – finally! Due to computer and website issues, I have been WAY out of touch. My sincere apologies!
Well, Jim and I have now been to Fiji and back on the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip – and when I got home, there was a huge box of NEW Stampin' Up! product waiting for me. Yippeeee! Of course it was one of the first things unpacked – and finally last weekend, I got a chance to play. This card features a bunch of newbies!
- Label Love stamp set p 33
- Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape
- Artisan Label punch
- Gingham Garden DSP
I was new to Washi tape – but certainly find I like (ok love) and am thinking of many uses! I have a super cute "pin" you'll love to see coming in the near future to this very blog!
This card actually features only 2 of the 3 patterns you receive in the package. Hint: you'll like the other one too if you like the base of this card!
So, thanks for hanging in there with me. Love you all!

Bloomin’ Bouquet Information:
Mother’s Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There’s no watering, no weeding—just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon, or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
