Welcome to April’s Creative Inking Blog Hop! The theme this month is Mother’s Day. While my mom is with the Angels, I have a new mom in my family to celebrate – my daughter Mandy. Check out what I have for her!
It’s a Gift Card holder! I learned this idea from a fellow demo – Terri Gaines at a Creative Connection event this past weekend (oh what fun!). It uses the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, a strip of DSP and an accent. How much simpler can it get?
The DSP I used is from the Lullaby collection. Since my daughter had a baby a month ago, I thought it was appropriate – and the gift card inside can be to treat herself! I inked up just the word “MOM” from the “Mother’s Love” stamp set in the Occasions catalog. I love the font. And if you act quickly – as in today – April 20, that stamp set is on sale!
