Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop this month! You will be treated to awesome projects this month – don't miss one blog! The theme is Babies. Even without babies in your future, you can apply any of these ideas to other card and gift ideas.
Isn't this a beauty? We have a neighbor who will be having their first baby any day. This cake holds a gift card that can be used by any new parent – plus a few chocolates to manage through those tougher days of new parenthood. Everything's better with chocolate, right?
17 Nuggets line this cake – nummy! I used the Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper (DSP) to wrap the nuggets. The bottom layer of nuggets is actually wrapped around an empty Stampin' Up! embellishment container.
I used skewers to hold the banner. Baker's Twine holds the banner made from the Banner Banter stamp set. Blushing Bride Sequins adorn the skewers. Don't you love this project? My friend Connie inspired this project as well as these.
If you want to make one of these nugget cakes (careful, they are addicting to make – and it isn't just the chocolate!), join me on August 25 at 4:00pm or 6:30pm. RSVP's required.
