Tips & Tricks – Adhering Intricate Dies with Ease

Can you relate to this?   You look at an intricate die and think, OMG I don’t want to get that die because I don’t want to mess around with trying to adhere it?  Let me put that fear to rest for you. . . I have an easy and perfect solution!

Here’s the perfect example. . .  I LOVE the intricate leaf die from the Seasonal Layers thinlits (part of the bundle with the Colorful Seasons stamp set).  This card and die is perfect for the upcoming fall season in North America.  But, I looked at it and thought – I don’t want to mess with figuring out any messy way of adhering the die cut to the card.

  1. Love the card..but had issues with the leaves . Did you use the precision plate and magnetic platform? Could you leave the adhesive piece on the leaf? I’d like to do a class with this card and have the leaves ready for the girls to adhere to the base.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    1. Neither my customers or myself have had issues. I adhered the adhesive to the cardstock and then die cut. I used the Big Shot platform in my Big Shot. What I know about my Big Shots is that I need 1 cardstock shim in it and it cuts gloriously. . . . Hope this helps.
