Do you ever feel as though you have the cutest gift ever and when it comes to packaging said cute gift. . . you stick it in a brown paper sack cuz you don’t have any great packaging ideas? Let me solve that for you!
Let me show you how easy it is to make a box for your perfect gift. I created this box after I saw a similar box on fellow demonstrator Sam Hammonds facebook posting. I used the Christmas Around the World designer series paper.
You can easily alter this box to fit your special gift. . . the easiest way to do that is to choose a size that is easily divisible by 4 (that is Sam’s greatest tip). For this box I started with a 8″ square designer series paper and and cardstock for a base. Score every 2″. Watch my video for great tips.
So if you wanted to start with a 10″ square cardstock, you would score ever 2 1/2″. Here is the video from Stampin’ Up! on the Be Merry Ornament/Tag kit.
As I mentioned, fellow demonstrator Sam made an amazing project. Here is my version of her project.
I love the Ribbon and the ornament embellishments! Also check out the sprigs that I attached.
I hope you give these boxes and the Be Merry kit a try. . . you will have FUN!
