I shared a little last week about an exciting new product coming from Stampin’ Up! – Alcohol Markers! To say that I am stoked is a mild expression. I do like to color but hesitate sometimes as I don’t feel like I am a good colorer (hope that’s a word) and I don’t like the lines I get from the Stampin’ Write markers. Don’t get me wrong, I love our Stampin’ Write markers for many things. (If you know my story, it is one of the biggest reasons I joined Stampin’ Up! almost 15 years ago!).
The joy of coloring with alcohol markers is absolutely remarkable. I truly feel like a trained artist – which I am not. They blend so so well! I wish I could give you a release date for these markers but, I don’t know it yet. I’m sure you’ll hear me yelling that date wherever you are when I know it!
Just check out how cute this crafting pot is when I colored it with the Stampin’ Blends! Seriously, I think I did a pretty fantastic job on that pot! When the Stampin’ Blends are available, you are going to want to stamp your line art images in the Momento Black ink pad. It is a must-have, just like the Stampin’ Blends! If you want to get a personal notification from me when the Stampin’ Blends are available for customers, email me and I will let you know!
For this card, I used the Crafting Forever stamp set. Yes, the housework goes by the wayside at my house sometimes too! I used the Wood Textures designer series paper for the background. This is one of the designer series papers that is part of the current sale! Be sure and check out that sale here!
Don’t you love that Gingham Ribbon bow as a finishing touch? Me too!
