Welcome to the Alaska Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop. Each month top Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators provide you amazing inspiration! One of the reasons I joined Stampin’ Up! was because of the quality designer series papers. I love them so much that sometimes I tend to keep (aka hoard) them. This month I want to inspire you with a way to use up the pieces of your designer series paper that perhaps you have been “keeping”.
The “Joy” in this card gives me great joy as I used up scraps of one of my favorite designer series papers – Quilted Christmas. This designer series paper comes from the Holiday catalog and is part of the Quilted Christmas product suite. Another one of my favorite products on this card is the Large Letters framelits. I understand the large letters framelits are an investment – but they are something that you will use over and over again – and aren’t going to go out of style!
I love the texture of the Holly embossing folder in the Lemon Lime Twist background. It sets off the letters which are die cut and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The “season of” comes from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set. . . check out how the stitching on the oval is set off with the Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker stitching. The final finishing touch is the Red tinsel bow.
