I was so honored to be asked to be on Santa’s Little Elves Design Team this year. Santa has 8 reindeer to pull his sleigh but he has 7 little elves who are his best stampers. Every Friday through Christmas, I have an over the top project to share with you! Complete with a Free Tutorial!!! This is week #5. Check out these links to the fabulous past projects!

- Week #2 – Candle Wrap
- Week #3 – Joy Frame
- Week #4 – Seasonal Chums Peppermint Patti Gift
- Week #5 – Christmas Lolly
This week’s inspiration is a Stocking Gift Card Holder made from the amazing Tags & Trimmings bundle! Did you know this bundle contains a gift card holder that is behind this gorgeous and elegant stocking?
Check this out! My family – including some of the grandkids are at a place where it is difficult to buy for them. In fact the only thing on my Freshman Grandson’s Xmas list is gift cards! (Yes, I have a Freshman Grandson!) I don’t just want to give a gift card without some fun packaging – Christmas is a special time and the gifts should be special. . . so for the gift cards, I need to have a special place to put them. The Tags & Trimmings bundle from the Holiday Catalog can be a solution for that!
The Elegant Eggplant with the Platinum Foil cardstock is the PERFECT elegant combination. The stocking was stamped with the Marbled background stamp to add dimension and elegance. The stitching on the cuff, heel and toe pieces are part of the framelits included in the Tags & Trimmings bundle. They certainly add that bit of detail that make this project amazing.
The finishing touch is the Holly, Berry and Metallic Thread. The die cuts come from the same bundle. You’ll love this bundle!
