WOW!!! The Blossoming Basket Bundle which is one of the new releases in the Sale-a-Bration catalog is uhhhhmazing!!!!! Yes, it’s a bundle which includes the Blossoming Basket stamp set and the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Honestly, I’m not sure if I like the stamp set or the embossing folder better!
I’ve been coloring a lot lately with the Stampin’ Blends so I decided to break out the Aquapainter and use our ink pads for coloring. It felt soooo good to do a little putsy coloring!
Although I’m not sure that there would be any way to not color this stamp set beautifully! I have seen a number of beautiful cards with this bundle. If you are inspired, you’ll find lots of inspiration out there!
Color Combination
Here is a simpler one that will be featured on my March Card Buffet Menu (if you are local, remember there is a special guest coming from Stampin’ Up!).
You can really see the wonderful detail and texture of the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder on this card. I made it event stand out a little more by rubbing the Crumb Cake stamp pad across the embossing folder before I embossed my cardstock.
One very inexpensive accent that I love to add to my cards is the Metallic Threads. For only $3.00 you get 50 years of shiny thread. It is available in Black, Copper, Gold and Silver.
