I have started a new series of Facebook Live events on Thursdays at 10:00 am CST.  Here is a link to BJ’s Stampin’ Spot where you can see the full replay.

The theme this week was cards using scraps.   I used scraps of designer series paper and other bits of cardstock I found.  You’re going to LOVE how these cards turned out!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card!   I combined 2 of my favorite Sale-a-Bration items!   The Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Celebrate You Thinlits!   For this card, I used a couple of 4″ scraps of 2 of the papers.  I colored the striped one with the Pool Party Ink Pad and used the Stampin’ Blends to color the Metallic Edge Ribbon.

In the video, I show you how I adhered the Celebrate You Thinlits so easily to this gorgeous card.  If you haven’t tried that technique for adhering detailed dies, you must give it a shot!

Card #2Here’s a sweet card!  In more ways than one as it comes from the Sweet Soiree product suite!  I used 2 pieces I found in my Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper stash (not like I’m hoarding it!)  The greeting is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set (new class for that here).

I opened the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit and used several pieces of the lovelies from that kit!  Oh my are there some fun lovelies in that kit!  Did you see that little strip of Washi Tape?  Perfect accent!

Card #3

The Petal Palette card was super duper easy!   Petal Passion designer series paper scrap and a Layering Oval scrap provide a great starting basis for this beauty.

I used the same method to adhere the Basic Black Petals & More Thinlit as I did for the Celebrate You thinlits.  Super easy with just scraps.  I colored the inside of the flower with the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  Find out why I think the Metallic Thread is the cheapest accent around on the video!
