Hold on to Hope card that I am going to send for Easter! This bundle caught my eye right away in the Occasions catalog and is a must have for anyone with a Christian Faith in my humble opinion. For this card, I wanted to add some detail and beauty without taking away from the focal point – the gold foil cross. I think I accomplished that using the Detailed Floral Thinlits and some designer series paper.
Hold on to Hope Bundle
I love the peek through detail that the designer series paper adds when it peeks through from behind the Detailed Floral Thinlit. Would you believe this is the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper? On the video, you can see the poodles on the opposite side of the paper. One of the best benefits of Stampin’ Up!’s designer series paper is that it is 2 sided (in most cases) and if I don’t care for one side, I always have the flip side!
Here you can really see the detail of the Birthday Memories designer series paper behind the cut outs. I want to call your attention to the Gold Cross and the textured detail that comes alive with the die cut. I think it is simply gorgeous!
You’ll want to check out the video for specifics and tips to help you copy this gorgeous card!
Here is another example of the technique of placing designer series paper behind a die cut. I love this one as well.
