This Perennial Birthday stamp set card makes this BEAUTIFUL card for any mom! It’s a perfect Mother’s Day or Birthday card for Mom. . . . “Today blooms just for you, Mom!” Plus it is an extra special card using the eclipse technique. I love this technique to make the key message – in this case “MOM” stand out! If you’ve never made an eclipse card yet, you must try it!
I added the flicking with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write marker. And of course the ribbon – you won’t find that color in the catalog. . . . it is the 1/8″ White ribbon which I colored with the light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend.
Check out the coloring too. . . . I used a combination of the Stampin’ Write Markers and coloring with a sponge dauber! I love the combination of the different coloring methods. Check out my quick video for tips on how to make this eclipse card.
As I mentioned in the video, I strongly encourage you to get the 2016-2018 In Colors now before they are gone! When they hit the retiring list in the next few weeks, they will be gone like a puff of smoke! Right now, you can double dip and get your Sale-a-Bration benefits too!
Check out this card in a different color scheme; Crushed Curry and Basic Gray. I think this one is stunning as well!
I really love how this one turned out too! The darker color behind the white layer really helps the “mom” stand out.
The Perennial Birthday stamp set is amazing! You’ll love this Class in the Mail! It has been very popular with my customers. . . I have a few packets left. Click here to order yours!
