Accented Blooms is one of my top 10 new stamp sets in the amazing new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog which debuts for customers on June 1! I think you can easily see why it is a favorite. . . .the flowers with the greeting are just the right size for a little coloring. And you know I love how the greetings coordinate with the Tailored Tag punch.
I used the Stampin’ Write markers to color these flowers. The colors I used were; Grapefruit Grove, Powder Pink, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party.
I did just a little fussy cutting around the flowers and adhered it to the cardbase with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is stamped in Mint Macaron and then punched out with the Tailored Tag punch. It is also popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Let’s talk a little about the cardbase. The cardbase itself is Mint Macaron. Did you see the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers in the color families including the In Colors? This is one of the 4 double sided patterns in the Grapefruit Grove color. The ribbon accent is from the Nature’s Twine combo pack.
Here is another super simple card using just one of the greeting from the stamp set and then letting the Tranquil Textures designer series paper create the interest in the card. This card features the front and back side of one of the Tranquil Textures designer series papers.
I added a couple of layers to the cardbase and a thin strip of the Pick a Pattern Washi tape over the seam of the 2 pieces of designer series paper as a highlight. Nature’s Twine was again the perfect finishing accent.
