This gift is actually super duper easy.  I alway keep my eye out for clearance things that I could add a little designer series paper and a stamp too.  This stack of notes came in a harder cardboard base or box.   I found them awhile back in a clearance bin at an office supply store.  My hint to you is to keep your eyes open for such things.  The Target dollar spot is a good spot to watch for these types of things too.

To finish this simple gift, I added strips of the Petal Promenade designer series paper to the cardboard box base.  I stamped an image from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on the note.   There was a hole for a pen, so I added a short little pen.  And that’s it!

I finished off the gift by placing in a cello bag.  I used a Stampin’ Up! bag that I had but you can purchase them at many stores.  A simple bow.  Add a tag and you are golden in your gift!

My dad has a collection of small jars.  He likes to pickle fish and put in them to give as gifts.  I repurposed this jar that he saved for the next gift idea I want to share.  This one – just like the last is super duper easy.

Let’s look closely at the lid.  The original lid was a bright yellow.  I used the Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape to wrap around the edge of the jar.  If you look closely, I used a green and a Cherry Cobbler Washi tape.  To cover up the yellow, I actually wrapped the Garden Green Washi tape around twice.

To add a little texture, I used the white flocking paper from Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series paper to wrap around the jar.  I ran a strip of Tear n Tape adhesive on the backside of the designer series paper which makes it stick without question to the jar.

I found that a 2 1/4″ circle perfectly fit the top of the jar.  The Making Christmas Bright stamp set had the perfect circle stamp to complement that.  The bonus is that the sentiment fit in the middle!   A quick Call Me Clover 1/8″ bow finished off the look.

Finish it off by filling your jar with chocolate – after all who doesn’t love chocolate?
