Accented Blooms was and is one of my favorite stamp sets. I loved the design with the coordinating punch to add the greeting. And the boldness of the greeting was and is appealing. If you have the Tailored Tag punch then you need this coordinating stamp too! This card features another retiring stamp set too – the Handwritten background stamp.
For the next few weeks I will be featuring some of my favorite retiring stamp sets and accessories. I hope you enjoy this tour. Be sure and get your favs ordered right away. Accessories are only available while supplies last and stamp sets have a guaranteed availability until May 22 and then while supplies last after that.
One of the favorite techniques I did with this stamp set was to emboss the image – in this case with gold embossing powder and then use bleach inside the embossing. This one done on Blueberry Bushel (a retiring In Color) created this Coastal Cabana color once bleached. So gorgeous!
For this card, I stamped on designer series paper and then did a monochromatic look by coloring in the floral details with a single color – Crumb Cake. I’m typically not a monochromatic kind of stamper but this card demonstrates the look very effectively.
Flowers aren’t just for spring and summer. Check out this fall color themed card. This stamp set allows you so many different looks based on the colors and techniques that you use. You will find this stamp set is easy for a beginning crafter but able to be stepped up with techniques for the avid crafter. What ever your level of crafting – you’ll enjoy this one.
