StampinBJ.com, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Perennial Birthday, Birthday card,

Welcome to the celebration of Perennial Birthday which is one of my top retiring stamp sets.  Birthdays are the most common reason we send cards and this stamp set is a great fit for that.  With easy to color images and greetings, you’ll find making a birthday card is as easy as 1-2-3.

For this card, I used a sponge dauber to color the images and paired it with a tone on tone image.  The greeting on this card is one of my all time favs.  You’ve probably seen it on a number of cards I have done.

StampinBJ.com, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Perennial Birthday, Birthday card,For this card, I paired my favorite greeting with the bold Happy Birthday greeting.   I used the stamparatus to easily stamp the greetings.  I use my stamparatus to stamp all the time and this is one of my favorite techniques to use with it.

StampinBJ.com, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Perennial Birthday, Birthday card,I had to share this one even though it uses the retired Large Letters Dies as Mother’s Day is coming up and it just seemed like a perfect fit for the times.  I can’t remember the apricot like color name, it is a retired in color.  You could certainly mimic this card using your own color combination.

StampinBJ.com, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Perennial Birthday, Birthday card,Here’s a bright color combo for you.   This card uses 2 easy techniques.  First, I stamped the greeting and then covered it with a piece of typing paper (thinner than our cardstock).  Then I stamped the flowers and colored with Stampin’ Write markers.  Once you remove the typing paper, you’ll see your greeting stand out.
