Coffee Break Gift Set

One of the things I love to have on hand is little gifts for friends and family.  My mom always had a drawer with gifts ready to go as you know these things typically come up last minute.   I love the Clear Mount stamp cases filled with 4 notecards & envelopes, a notebook and coordinating pen.

Coffee Cafe, Coffee Break, Coffee Cups, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters

For this gift set, I used the Coffee Break Product Suite (p 30-31).  The bundle in this product suite is the Coffee Cafe Stamp set bundled with the Coffee Cup framelits (10% savings on the bundle).  I added the Coffee Break designer series paper and the Corrugated Elements which are a perfect fit!

Coffee Cafe, Coffee Break, Coffee Cups, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters

I used the Whisper White Notecards & envelopes as my base – these come in a pack of 20 and are of great quality and are inexpensive in my humble opinion.  Check out how I have cut one of the Coffee Cups from the Coffee Break designer series paper on this notecard.

If I need to add a little more to the gift, I can add a coffee gift card!   Or if my friend receiving this gift needs to send the notecard to someone, they can add a gift card inside the notecard!  Easy peasy – not much thinking involved!

This one might be one of my favorites!  I love the Coffee Break designer series paper!

And here’s the clear stamp case with the Coffee Break designer series paper inserted into the sleeve and the coordinating pen.    I have done these gifts in a class in the past.  A tutorial is still available.  Click here for more info.

Would you agree this is a sweet sweet gift?

Beautiful Bouquet for a Friend

Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Bouquet, BJ PEters, Stampinbj.com, Lovely Words thinlits

You’ll enjoy this simple one layer card when you have the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set!   That stamp set brings sooo much.  There are 37 stamps in this set.  Fifteen of which are greetings.  And the greetings are unique and just seem to have that perfect sentiment.   I think you’ll agree when you go check it out!

In addition, there are 22 flowers, stems, bows and other coordinating stamps in the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.  You’ll find very unique combinations and multiple types of flowers to combine in various and unique ways.

Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Bouquet, BJ Peters, stampinbj.com, Lovely Words Thinlits

For this simple 1 layer card, I added a little dimension by die cutting and using a Stampin’ Dimensional on the largest flower.  I also die cut the bow (such a fun little accent).  I also found that the Lovely Words thinlits were a perfect complement to the Happy Birthday greeting!

Such an adorable card – and only a single layer!

Another Floral Statement

Yesterday, I shared my Tuesday Tips & Tricks using bleach with this stamp set.  I briefly showed this card on the video and thought you would enjoy a closer look.

Yes, I stamped the Floral Statements stamp and then embossed it with Black embossing powder.  Then I used bleach on the Soft Suede cardstock to allow me to add in color to the flowers and leaves.  I don’t think that I waited until the bleach was completely dry and thus it created the two toned effect that you see on the flowers here.  I used the Berry Burst and Wild Wasabi stamp pads with a blender pen to add the color.

I love the variegated effect that happened.  Turned out gorgeous in my humble opinion!

I mounted this on Rose Red cardstock, I know I used the Berry Burst color but with the bleach, the Rose Red cardstock seemed to match the best.  I hope that you enjoyed this technique and video yesterday.

Which of the 2 bleach cards do you like best?

Hey everyone!  Happy 4ith of July – American Independence Day!  Since it’s Tuesday, I still have my Tip & Tricks series for you but coming to you from a different place – you’ll see that in my video!

Stampin' Up!, Floral Statements, BJ Peters, Stampinbj.com, Tips & Tricks with BJ on Tuesdays

Hello to the Floral Statements stamp set!   WOW!   I love this card!   And you have to watch the Tips & Tricks video to see how it was done as well as a little inside information about it’s creation.

The Technique I used on this card is a bleaching technique.  Then I added color back in with a Blender Pen and ink from the stamp pad.  I think Berry Burst is my favorite new In Color of all time!  I love the Pool Party, Basic Black and Berry Burst color scheme.

Tutoring with BJ on Thursdays – Ribbon of Courage

Welcome to another week of Tutoring with BJ on Thursdays!   I have one for you that you are going to love!   This stamp set is called Ribbon of Courage.

Ribbon of Courage, Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Stampinbj.com

While this Ribbon of Courage is decked out in Pink, which represents Breast Cancer, there are a number of other colors that you can use the Ribbon of Hope for.  I had an eye opening experience when I googled Awareness Colors.  There are TONS of colors that represent like everything! That makes this a great stamp set to have on hand when you need to send a card expressing your compassion.

Stampin' Up!, BJ Peters, Ribbon of Courage, stampinBJ.com

The Cooper Foil cardstock and the Copper embossing really make the card super special.  And then coloring the ribbon in with a Stampin’ Write marker is easy peasy!
